Wine Dinner with the Uncorked Greeks!

We are honored to host the Uncorked Greeks' inaugural wine dinner! Please join us for this special event to celebrate the soft launch of UncorkedGreeks.com, an online wine shop where Virginia residents can learn about and purchase some of the best wines Greece has to offer!
Tables will be joined together for a more communal setting & several dishes will be served family style, on large plates, much like it is done in Greece.
Here are the menu & pairings for our Greek wine dinner on Tuesday. Looking forward to a fun evening with the Uncorked Greeks! :-)
Spread made of feta, manouri, Greek yogurt, roasted red peppers, served with grilled pita. Served family style, paired with sparkling Charilys Spumante Brut from Matamis Estate, Epanomi.
Black-eyed peas, mixed greens, fennel, roasted cauliflower, fresh onions topped with grilled octopus, in fresh lemon & olive oil dressing. Served family style, paired with 2016 Plano Malagousia white wine from Wine Art Estate, Drama. 90 points by Robert Parker.
Stuffed filet of branzino with fresh spinach & grilled shrimp, served with boiled carrots & potatoes in lemon sauce. Served individually, paired with 2016 Katsano white wine from Gavalas Estate, Santorini. 91 points by Robert Parker.
Thin-cut lamb chops & county pork sausage, grilled & served together in large plates family style, as in traditional Greek hasapotavérnas. Paired with 2015 Monopati red wine from Aivalis Estate, Nemea.
Beef short ribs with hand-mashed potatoes in light tomato sauce. Served individually, paired with 2013 Paliokalias red wine from Dalamaras Estate, Naoussa. 92 points by Robert Parker.
Walnuts & honey in thin angel-hair phyllo pastry with cream of chocolate. Served individually, paired with Melitis sweet muscat wine from Avantis Estate, Evia. 90 points by Robert Parker.
$80 per person for a six-course dinner paired with the wines mentioned above.
